Teacher’s strike paves way to Win-Win

In conjunction with the current public service employee’s strike demanding wage increases and causing great disruption, the teacher’s strike is causing a serious threat to the education of students in government schools, who have been left to their own devices to prepare for their upcoming exams. How can private schools or retired teachers come to the rescue here and share resources? How can teachers be rewarded with a decent salary that mirrors their contribution to educating young people, and prevents annuals strikes? We’re looking for a plan of action that’s sustainable and Win-win!
