Zip-Zap Circus provides alternative education

Cape Town’s man-made treasure, the Zip-Zap circus, provides a novel home for youth at risk. Co-founders, Brent van Rensburg and Laurence Esteve, recognized a need to develop an alternative educational experience using their professional circus skills to inspire social change.

At a recent TED-ED in Cape Town, Van Rensburg showcased how subjects like maths, science and languages can be taught and understood by students who are more physically inclined.
