ACEtone – the trump card against waste

Styrofoam currently constitutes one of the major packaging components of digital products. Although with its benefits, Styrofoam occupies 25-30% of landfill sites, taking over 500 years to decompose.

Acetone, a commonly available solvent, dissolves Styrofoam packaging almost instantly. Generally regarded as safe, acetone presents an opportunity to, at a minimum, reduce the volume of environmental waste from Styrofoam.

We plan to utilize acetone in the form of a safe Styrofoam Recycling Kit and provide it with the purchase of digital products. This is a practical, cost effective, and most importantly, easily implementable solution to reduce Styrofoam waste.
