Disposing of plastic bags – literally

Six teams travelled to SA to do research projects around the theme, ‘The Future of Water’.

Harvard team number one, have dubbed their experiment, ‘Two Use’. It’s a plastic material that dissolves in water and releases a safe eco-friendly laundry detergent. Not only are the bags reusable but they ultimately disappear altogether…and provide an environmental alternative to plastic shopping bags.
