UCT’s Kennedy is a firm believer that in order to achieve economic and social change on this continent, more entrepreneurs need to be given a platform for their ideas and initiatives to bear fruit. Zimbabwean born Kumbi is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s most outstanding student leader award and has a passion for change and hope, and Nigerian born Kola is an engineer at heart who’s blood ‘courses with cells of making a difference’. Together they say: “ASK NOT WHAT AFRICA CAN DO FOR ME BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR AFRICA.”
Kennedy Kitheka is completing a business science in Finance Degree; Kumbirai Gundani is in an Economics and Stats grad and is completing a postgraduate degree in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management; Kolawale Olajide is a computer science grad and is currently completing his second degree in search engineering. Jason is completing a BSC in Aerospace Engineering at Wits; Sameer is completing a Bsc in IT project management at the University of Toronto and has worked with some of Silicon Valley’s greatest entrepreneurs.
