Report Madiba Day activities, send bday message, win R200 Woolies voucher

“Take Action; Inspire Change; Make Every Day a Mandela Day.” (Mandela Day mantra )

Mandela Day is an international call to action for individuals to take responsibility for making the world a better place, one minute at a time. Mandela Day on 18th July, not only celebrates Madiba’s birthday, but encourages the public to give 67 minutes of their time, supporting a chosen charity or serving their local community. (President Mandela gave 67 years of his life fighting for a democratic South Africa).

So as a Supernews Citizen Journalist, we’d like you to:

  1. Send a Happy Birthday Madiba message (video clip preferable)
  2. Report on a Mandela day event/project
  3. Follow preparations pre-Mandela day
  4. Tell us how you’re spending your 67 minutes
  5. Report on the Boundless Heart Foundation’s initiative in Delft
  6. Check out national Mandela Day activities to report
