Siyavula

On Friday 14 October, Siyavula and 23 volunteers made up of teachers and postgraduate students met up in a studio in Cape Town. By Sunday, they had put together the first draft of a Grade 10 Life Sciences textbook for South African school pupils.

Siyavula is a Shuttleworth Foundation seeded project that supports and encourages communities of teachers to work together, openly share their teaching resources and benefit from the use of technology.
