Supernews is crowd-sourcing everyday people changing SA – leaders and visionaries, inventors and entrepreneurs, designers and artists, mavericks and protectors, campaigners and persuaders, teachers and catalysts, original thinkers and paradigm shifters – The creative, innovative, passionate, provocative, intriguing, entertaining, inspiring and extraordinary – to become part of our Super Hero Network.
You can report about anyone you know or can get to know in South Africa that you’re inspired by – anyone with world-changing potential who has either earned their stripes or is on their way. These are the people who change people’s minds, and when they act, they inspire us to act too.
Tell their story:
- What is their specific accomplishment and what was involved in achieving it? For example, are they enhancing human health, championing children or the elderly, creating innovative solutions to local problems, preserving and protecting the environment, speaking out for human rights, challenging the political status quo, etc
- How have their efforts made a difference for the better?
- Describe their impact, potential impact and how they have inspired others.
- Is there a specific incident or turning point that motivated them to take action?
- What makes them exceptional or unique?
- How will being recognized as a Super Hero further their cause?
- Is there a call to action or campaign they are running? Include their website address in your report.
