Business idea-collaboration

I think that the reason why a lot of pupils are dropping out of school is the following: Financially they are not able to manage; family problems; inadequate preparation for higher education; having other plans besides going to school; stigmatisation; lack of foresight to actually envision what change they can make; too much stress due to workloads in university; the inability to reach expectations resulting in failure and exclusion.

This applies to those who are not facing financial problems too and affects us all whether advantaged or disadvantaged.

Another issue of importance would be based on how a builder would build his house. Without a firm foundation, then the building is bound to easily be a wreck after a heavy storm or earthquake. This concept applies to education as well. If a student starts primary and goes on to his/her secondary learning and the content that he/she is learning at these levels are not of help when they arrive at the tertiary level, then it is highly likely that they will fall because a weak or no foundation has been set.

Possible or Proposed Solution

I was thinking of something that would incentivise students to actually pursue their dreams, or make them want to have some to finish their education.

I have a collaborative system in mind whereby South Africa could collaborate with other countries and adopt their education styles. Thus formation of a board for such would be necessary. By doing this the butterfly effect arises. This is because there would be a need for changes to be made to what is taught, staff would need to be trained further according to these adopted strategies. For this to be as successful as possible there would be a great need for role models from such countries to chip in wherever possible. This would be incentivising to students as they would want to make it to such heights as well.
